GTO Reports: Analyze, Compare, Improve
Instant Preflop Analysis
GTO Reports directly compares your preflop stats to GTO benchmarks for cash games. This tool helps you establish solid preflop fundamentals by clearly visualizing where your play deviates from optimal strategy.
- Restrictions – Currently available for cash games only and preflop stats only. Postflop stats and other formats are coming soon!
Choose Your GTO Baseline
We use high-quality solver solutions to generate accurate comparisons. Choose from:
- 200bb or 100bb stack depths
- NL500 or NL50 rake structures
Key Features:
- Compare your actual stats vs. optimal GTO stats
- Color-coded deviations make leaks easy to spot
- Statistical confidence indicators highlight low-sample areas (<200 hands)
Core Preflop Stats Covered:
Evaluate your preflop strategy across key stats, including VPIP, PFR, VPIP/PFR, RFI, Limp, Squeeze, 3-Bet, and 4-Bet, and 5-Bets.
Look at this 4-bet stat—20.1%, compared to the GTO baseline of 15.5%. That’s a significant gap, suggesting excessive aggression. We see the same tendency for aggressive 3-betting (13.1% vs a GTO baseline of 9.7%) and squeezing (14.1% vs 7.8%).
Here, you can see how GTO Reports visually highlight these imbalances: stats exceeding GTO are marked in red, while those falling short are blue, making it easy to spot leaks at a glance. Identifying these discrepancies is exactly why GTO Reports are such a valuable tool.
Advanced Filtering for Targeted Study
- Date Filters – Isolate specific timeframes
- Values – ‘Absolute’ displays your raw stat, whereas ‘Relative’ shows the difference between your stat and the GTO benchmark
- Deviation from GTO – Highlights stats that are higher or lower than GTO
Deeper Insights with Position-Based Breakdown
Click any primary stat to reveal detailed analysis:
- Positional Breakdown – See how your play varies by position
- Position vs. Position Matrix – Analyze key matchups (e.g., CO vs. HJ)
- ‘Vs’ Toggle – Examine how you respond to opponent actions (e.g., facing a 3-Bet)
This tool provides a complete diagnostic of your preflop tendencies, giving you the insights needed to fine-tune your approach. Upload your hand histories today and take control of your leaks!
Example: Breaking Down a 3-Bet Stat
Clicking on the 3-bet stat reveals a positional breakdown, showing how often you 3-bet from each position compared to GTO. Below that, the position vs. position matrix provides a granular look at how you respond to an open raise from every position.
Defending vs. 3-Bets
Toggling the ‘Vs 3-Bet’ switch flips the view to analyze your defense strategy. Instead of seeing your 3-bet frequency, you’ll now see how often you fold, call, or raise when facing a 3-bet—broken down by position vs. position. This allows you to pinpoint exactly where your defense is too tight or too loose and adjust accordingly.
GTO Reports make it effortless to visualize where your frequencies deviate from optimal play, so you can make targeted adjustments and plug leaks fast.
Analyzer Improvements: Powerful New Tools for Deeper Hand Analysis
We’ve completely revamped the Analyzer with a smoother, more intuitive interface and several powerful new features to help you pinpoint and fix leaks faster than ever.
Postflop Action Sequence Filters
Drill down into specific betting lines with precise postflop action sequence filtering. Want to review:
- Every check-raise opportunity you faced?
- All your delayed c-bets that went wrong?
- Those crucial triple-barrel spots?
- Any specific betting pattern that matters to your game?
Simply define the postflop betting line using our new action sequence filters and instantly access every matching hand in your database. This targeted approach helps you identify patterns in specific spots and develop more nuanced strategic adjustments.
For example, here we have filtered for spots where someone overbet probed the turn:
Enhanced Analyzer Filters
We’ve expanded our analyzer with additional powerful filters to refine your hand analysis even further. Now, alongside action sequences, you can quickly filter hands based on:
- Whether Hero saw the flop, turn, or river
- The opponent’s position
- The effective stack depthEffective stack is measured as the shortest preflop stack between hero and VPIP’d opponents.
These enhanced filters allow for deeper analysis, enabling you to dissect your play with greater precision.
Hand History Annotation System
Context matters in poker decisions! Our new hand history annotation system lets you add custom notes and color-code hands for easier categorization and review.
Did you intentionally deviate from GTO against a recreational player? Tag it with a note explaining your exploitative adjustment. Working on a specific leak? Color-code related hands for your next study session. These annotations stay with your hand histories, creating a personalized study framework that evolves with your game.
One-Click Stats-to-Hands Filtering
We’ve streamlined the leak-finding workflow with direct connections between your stats and hand histories. When reviewing your aggregate statistics, simply click any stat value to instantly generate a filtered hand report for that specific scenario.
Notice your squeeze play showing a high error rate? One click on that stat cell immediately pulls up all relevant squeeze hands for review. This seamless integration between stats and hand histories eliminates tedious manual filtering, getting you straight to the hands that matter most.
This shortcut works for any aggregate stat table when filtering for Preflop Action, Position, or Preflop Aggression. It does not work when filtering by Street.
Expanded Cardroom Support
The Analyzer now supports hand histories from additional popular platforms:
- Club GG – complete parsing and analysis support
- Coin Poker – full integration with the latest format
Engine Upgrade – Faster Performance, Same Precision
In preparation for upcoming exciting releases, we’ve optimized GTO Wizard AI for a significantly smoother user experience. Enjoy dramatically faster solving times without compromising accuracy!
The following benchmarks were conducted using SPR = 50 with fixed sizings (2 bet sizes, 3 raise sizes):
Play Mode Improvements: Practice, Analyze, Improve
Now, when you finish a game in Play Mode HU Matchmaking, you can analyze your entire session in our full-featured Analyzer—completely free, without limitations! Simply click the “Review your game now” button at the end of a Heads Up Match. Your hands will be exported to the newly improved Analyzer, where you can review your leaks.
