Cash Game Solutions
This update comes packed to the brim with brand new Cash game solutions!
The Simplified solutions offer a remarkable combination of accuracy, ease of learning, and painless implementation. These strategies give Hero a straightforward bet sizing strategy while giving Villain a more complex strategy. The goal is twofold: firstly, to equip Hero with a responsive plan against various bet sizes, and secondly, to create a simplified strategy that is highly resistant to exploitation.
When selecting these solutions, you must choose the “simplified player” in the solution set, either IP (in position) or OOP (out of position). You can view the Simplified solutions for NL50 and NL500 rake structures, 100bb deep. The Simplified solutions are solved to an eye-watering 0.005% accuracy in 4bet pots, and 0.045% accuracy in single-raised pots. To put that into perspective, our current General solutions are solved to 0.3%, and industry standard is closer to 0.5%.
We’ve also introduced a huge variety of preflop cash solutions. Now you can learn to play preflop perfectly against most opening sizes and rake structures! New cash game opening sizes: 2x, 2.25x, 2.5x, 3x. New cash game rake structures: NL25, NL50, NL100, NL200, NL500, NL1k, NL2k, NL5k, NL10k, cEV, GG R&C (GG Rush & Cash).
You can choose between three levels of preflop complexity: {{tooltip-title: Simple}}, {{tooltip-title: General}}, or {{tooltip-title: Research}} solutions. The new Research solutions feature several raise sizes at each decision point. We use these to find optimal preflop sizes for the Simple and General solutions. The Simple solutions remove cold-calls from most positions and don’t allow SB limps, making them easier to learn. The General solutions allow cold-calling from most positions, feature SB limping when appropriate, and include 4bet all-in shoves.
MTT Solutions
This update introduces 658 new tournament solutions!
- Firstly, we’ve incorporated new PKO final table solutions, allowing you to study bounty tournaments during their most crucial phase.
- Furthermore, we’ve included additional Preflop cEV MTT solutions for 6max through 8max scenarios. These cover both asymmetric and symmetric stack depths ranging from 1bb to 200bb.
- For the 6max spots, we’ve also provided postflop solutions for stack depths between 6bb and 50bb. These solutions boast exceptional precision, with an ultra-high accuracy below 0.2% pot, and non-limped spots achieving an even more impressive accuracy below 0.08%.
HU SnG Solutions
The final addition to our roster includes brand new Heads Up Sit ‘n Go solutions!
The {{tooltip-title: General}} and {{tooltip-title: Simple}} HU SnG solutions include both preflop and postflop spots. The preflop sizes are optimized based on our aforementioned research. The General and Simple solutions offer two levels of postflop complexity to suit your needs. You can study any stack depth between 1 and 25bb, at 0.5bb intervals. All postflop spots are solved to an accuracy of at least 0.1%.
We’ve added {{tooltip-title: Research}} preflop-only solutions that include several sizes. These are complex preflop solutions used to test for optimal sizing.

Toggle between the familiar infobox overview, or the all new table view! The “overview” option displays stack sizes and pot odds. The new table view shows positions more clearly, as well as relevant metrics about the active players.

Display actions as numbers or as a chart using this dropdown.

Now you can filter suits and advanced equity buckets in the filters tab. Previously these filters were on different pages, but now all the filters are in one place.

With today’s update, we’re introducing the second study plan! This study was curated by MTT coach Matt Hunt. At the end of this 30-step plan, you should have all the tools you need to start crushing MTTs!

Each step of the plan includes assignments and resources to help you:
- Master the software.
- Implement ICM into your strategy.
- Learn the fundamental theory of MTTs.
- Turn theory into practice with useful drills.
Each step of the study plan provides you with tasks and resources. These can range from practicing a specific drill, to reading an article, watching a video, or something else! Mark completed steps by checking off the top-left corner as you complete each step!
To access the study plan, select Study > Study Plan using the dropdown at the top of the page and select “MTT Fundamentals”. Or continue by clicking here.
The new score progression chart tracks your performance against the trainer for the previous 100 to 1000 hands. Your GTOW score tracks how closely you play to GTO. This is a great way to track your progress and visualize your improvement!
You can access this chart from your Stats page. Note that you need to practice at least 100 hands first. Points in the graph are clustered by 10 – 100 hand intervals. Hovering over one of these points will display your GTOW score for that interval.

Put the value of hands into perspective with the new pot share metric! This displays the expected value of hands as a percentage of the pot (EV / Pot) rather than an absolute value in big blinds. This view is helpful as the magnitude of decisions is always a function of pot size.
To select pot share, press hotkeys (Shift + Space), or change it in your settings → appearance → other → Show EV as: EV/Pot.

Previously, there was no way to combine certain solutions in the Trainer. Now you can mix solutions together to improve your training experience.
For example, now you can practice multiple tournament phases in one drill:

Another example – Now you can practice defending against different opening or 3bet sizes in a single drill:

Organize your postflop filters with tags! Postflop filters can be used in aggregate flop reports, as well as trainer settings. These filters define board textures.
The tagging system allows you to define similar spots. For example, some board textures might apply to BTN vs. BB, while others would only apply to UTG vs. BB spots. Now you can separate these board filters as needed to improve your training sessions or optimize how you study reports.
Read this article to learn more about how to organize things with tags.
Open your saved filters and select one or multiple drills, then press “assign tags” – choose a color and tag name. Once you’ve added some tags, you can search for filters with those tags assigned by selecting the dropdown above the filters:

Now you can rearrange the way tables are displayed in GTO Wizard. You can add and delete headers, and choose what order they should appear. This works for all tables in GTO Wizard such as your Practiced Hands, Practiced Sessions, or Analyzed Hands.
This feature acts as a stepping stone for future updates. We intend to add many new ways to review your play, and this organizational tool paves the path for those updates.
To edit this table, scroll down to the bottom and {{tooltip-title: select “edit” in the bottom left corner}}. This opens a new menu from which you can organize, add, or hide data in the table. Note that hiding the data here doesn’t delete it; you can always add data back later.
