Since our previous statement about the future of the online poker ecosystem and the introduction of GTO Wizard Fair Play Check, a lot of events have happened in the poker world around game integrity, including various controversies and concerns about fair play.

There is no denying that solver technology has come a long way since the introduction of solvers 10 years ago and that it is still progressing rapidly, as demonstrated by our release of custom ICM and PKO solving. It raises the question of how we, as a poker community, can ensure that online poker stays trustworthy and vibrant for years to come.

Our Vision

As the leading poker educational platform, GTO Wizard plays a crucial role in safeguarding the online poker industry. Our success depends on the game’s longevity, so ensuring a fair and thriving ecosystem is one of our top priorities.

Our long-term vision is to eliminate unfair play in online poker. As with all ambitious goals, this one can’t be achieved overnight either. So, we are taking a step-by-step approach, leveraging our state-of-the-art technology and strategic partnerships with poker operators to make the game fairer for everyone.

Aligned Towards a Shared Vision

The first step towards our vision is to eliminate any possible misuse of GTO Wizard. Since the release of the Fair Play Check, we have developed a solution that poker operators can use to verify on a mass scale if boards dealt on their network were consulted in real-time on GTO Wizard. By integrating the Fair Play Check directly into their game integrity protocols and facilitating the cross-verification process, poker operators have the weapons to eliminate any misuse of GTO Wizard on their platform. With the addition of custom ICM solving to GTO Wizard AI, the Fair Play Check is now more powerful than ever in catching cheaters, especially for those tempted to violate fair play rules in high-pressure final table situations. As we push the boundaries of innovation and achieve new breakthroughs, the Fair Play Check will continue to be enhanced, delivering even greater value.

As the first measure in achieving our vision, we have engaged with every major poker operator over the past year to offer our game integrity solutions. We are proud to announce that leading platforms, such as GGPoker, have implemented our services, delivering a tangible impact on the first day of our cooperation, including the suspension of 31 fraudulent accounts on GGPoker’s platform. Beyond utilizing our game integrity services, these partnerships have initiated a strong collaboration with GTO Wizard, demonstrating a long-term commitment to maintaining a fair and competitive poker environment.

In addition to offering our technological solutions, we have hosted workshops and consulting sessions with operators, guiding them in improving their detection services. We are proud to lead these initiatives, helping shape the future of game integrity standards.

These collaborations also allow us to serve as an impartial third party in sensitive cases where GTO Wizard’s rigorous and unbiased game integrity standards are essential. For example, we recently assisted the Winning Poker Network with its flagship brand, Americas Cardroom (ACR), in their internal investigations regarding the latest ACR poker pro cheating allegations, leveraging our expertise to assist in the process.

While some operators openly acknowledge our partnership, we also work with several other platforms that prefer to keep their cooperation confidential. Our reach extends far beyond the publicly known cases, reinforcing our mission to uphold fairness across the poker industry.

Addressing the Issue of Private Tools

While the Fair Play Check allows operators to do cross-verification on a mass scale—a significant step forward—we acknowledge that it doesn’t prevent the broader issue of sophisticated cheaters using private tools to exploit poker players.

Catching cheaters has always been considered an arms race between poker operators and the bad actors, as sites need to keep up with the technology developed by ill-intended agents, and cheaters need to adapt their methods to circumvent game integrity measures adopted by poker operators. The next step to truly eliminate online cheating is to tackle private tools, a challenge we are actively addressing with our cutting-edge technology.

With the most advanced research team in the industry, GTO Wizard AI is already reshaping how cheating is detected, and we are confident its impact will be undeniable. Our technology has demonstrated its capabilities by solving for custom rake structures and tournaments, and we are developing scalable solving methods that can handle any poker variant.
